HOLIDAY RESORT VENUE: This event takes place at a beautiful holiday resort, specific venue information provided after registration confirmation; once registered for the event, you must reserve your room with the venue – accommodations not included in event)
COURSE HOURS: twelve hours, two days
VERY LIMITED SEATING: Limited space, first-come, first-served. On the flip side, if we do not have enough participants registered, the seminar will be cancelled so be sure to register early and encourage your friends to do so too.

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: The Tranceworkshops are taught in English. Chinese interpretation is available. On November 24-25, Brian David Phillips will be conducting a two-day seminar on AS IF CHANGEWORK: New Model Trance Patterning and Changework via Mirror Neutrons based upon Cutting-Edge Psychology Research at a delightful resort location in Taiwan.
This seminar is specifically designed for folks who wish to enhance their lives, make positive change, increase their personal level of happiness and satisfaction with life, to be happy, and to achieve their goals – personal, educational, professional, or otherwise. This is not a dry theory course nor is it a passive lecture program. This is a hands-on do the processes and improve your life experience!
Take a leap into the world of AS IF processes that directly tap into the power of the unconscious through the use of Intensified Imaginative Involvement, Focused Trance, Visualization, and so very much more with the express purpose of getting inside oneself and clearing out the cobwebs, adjusting the mental furniture, and becoming the sort of person you wish to be. The processes being taught in this amazing experience are all based upon very current cutting-edge psychological research.
These processes can be practiced alone or with a partner.
Dr. Phillips will discuss the material, perform individual demonstrations of emotionally powerful processes, as well as guide group trance experiences while teaching participants fundamentals on how they can return to these powerful states of mind and emotional-physical responsiveness anytime they wish for further insight and enjoyment. This is a hands-on seminar. Brian David Phillips (master hypnotist) will demonstrate the mental processes and then participants will practice with one another so come prepared to learn by doing, learn by creating, to be and to flow freely.

INSTRUCTOR:
The course is taught by Rev. Dr. Brian David Phillips, an internationally known and respected hypnosis practitioner, educator, author, and entertainer. Dr. Phillips is President of the Society of Experiential Trance and editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of Experiential Trance. Dr. Phillips is the coordinator and chief instructor for the oldest English-language hypnosis and focused-trance practice group in Taiwan and is the owner and moderator of one of the largest online email discussion communities related to hypnosis and focused trance techniques. He has taught numerous workshops and seminars on hypnosis, focused trance, and experiential hypnosis in a variety of countries throughout the world as well as a number of webinars (web-based seminars) on these and related subjects. Dr. Phillips is an associate professor at National Chengchi University. Dr. Phillips uses rapid and instant hypnosis inductions routinely in his Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show, the only ongoing entertainment comedy hypnosis stage show in Taiwan.
TEACHING METHODS:
This seminar relies upon a very fast-paced system of demonstration and practice. More than any other course, this seminar consists of demonstration, explanation, practice, practice, practice. It is NOT intended as a lecture or passive learning experience. It is a very fast-paced and energetic program so students should come ready, willing, able, and eager to jump right in and run full speed ahead. The teaching methodology is very active. Students will learn through all of their sensory learning channels, particularly aural, visual, and kinesthetic . . . listening, seeing, and doing . . . as it is a practical applications competence course, there is a great deal of supervised “doing” with immediate and useful feedback. Typically, for each subject or technique, the training is within the following process model: 1. instructor briefs students on the topic, 2. instructor demonstrates technique with student volunteer, 3. the demonstration is then broken down into steps, 4. students then practice the technique several times with one another under guidance of the instructor with ongoing feedback, 5. class debriefs about experience and technique with performance notes from instructor, 6. students continue advanced practice (including homework for some techniques), 7. final debriefing with instructor. The course focuses upon competence and application of material.
The seminar is taught in English (we are happy to provide limited English to Chinese interpretation provided a sufficient number of folks register and request it, please contact Lorraine for details).
VIDEO and RECORDING POLICIES:
Please Note, participants may NOT use recording devices during the seminar. However, as is typical, the instructor may record the training. Participation in this seminar is considered explicit consent to be recorded on video, audio, and photograph. You must participate, wallflowers need not register.
Videos are used for archival purposes as well as for possible training products. Participants wishing their own copies of any resulting video programs will be given the opportunity to purchase pre-release copies at a substantial savings from the retail price.
