Brain Stimulation Makes the ‘Impossible Problem’ Solvable

Some fascinating research into brain stimulation and problem-solving has found a significant increase in certain types of creative problem-solving when certain areas of the brain are stimulated via an electric circuit thingie. From a nine dot problem with no solutions to stimulation and forty percent solutions is a pretty damned big jump. See the article at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/scott-barry-kaufman/tdcs-nine-dot-problem_b_1445419.html for more.

Now, the really interesting question for hypnotists is “how can we simulate the stimulation via suggestion or mental focus alone?”

If I can guide someone into the physical sensations of orgasm or drunkenness or more, can I likewise guide them into the physical sensations of the sort of interrupt that occurs when the brain is stimulated in this way?
