What if Disney style Fairy Tale Weddings were Real? Oh, right, they are. 🙂

Let me clarify . . . this is not my image, reposting it from numerous sites picking up on it (most missing the point or context).

Nope, this image is not real either, but it is funny and more importantly it has an influence effect.

Someone photoshopped the Disney bits to create a parody illusion (Prince Charming’s trousers aren’t actually black and his shirt isn’t actually red while Cinderella’s hair is blonde and the evil stepsisters (here, Royal cousins who just recently lost their twenty-four hour security protection) have different colored dresses, green and magenta . . . but . . . for a moment, it felt real and that’s the beauty of influence through visual trickery.

Now, despite the playfulness of the image and its probably benign intent, it also creates a subtext impression that these folks aren’t “real folks” but are more of a cartoony cliche not to be taken seriously . . . although I suspect the sisters get the worst of the impression (not that a parody link to cartoons really is necessary in their case what with the Royal Reputation they have garnered for themselves of late.
