It’s official so I can go ahead and let it leak . . . I will be performing my Brian David Phillips Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show at Midnight, Saturday Night, July 1, 2006 . . . at The Farmhouse in Taipei.

After the Street Hypnosis gig for Smirnoff and ICRT last Saturday, Lorraine and I chatted with the owner who had seen a number of my Walkabout Trance Street Hypnosis clips (while the video from last Saturday did not come out, we will be doing another workshop on street hypnosis soon) and the next thing we knew we were strolling down the street and checking out the stage with a show in mind. It’s intimate for performance hypnosis but I’ve seen seasoned professionals perform in far more cramped locales.

We’ll be off to Taidong next week and will get back June 29 and so the timing for a July 1 gig is perfect.

For those of you who will be going to the show . . . and that means YOU . . . so make sure you clear your calendar, tell your friends, and get there early . . . The Farmhouse is at No. 5, Lane 32, Shuang Cheng Street, Taipei . . . you can call (02) 595-1764/5 for more information about how to get there and the like. We will be going on for the hypnosis show at midnight, after the band set and the crowd gets thicker and before the second band set. There is often a heavy English-speaking element at the club so my show will fit right in. I will be prepping some new material appropriate for the venue as well as some of my standard bits. Since this is a venue that is used to live bands and disco, I will be adding a bit more music to the act, albeit keeping the time tight.

It looks like it’s shaping up to be a LOT OF FUN!
