This is a very effective and quick demo of waking hypnosis. I got this idea watching Mike Doubet at Mark’s Advanced Stage Hypnosis Seminar. It reminds me a an SS “Warmth Builder,” but you can set it up very quickly and it lights a person up like a Christmas tree- try it! I’ve field tested this several times.
My setup for this is as follows- If a woman asks me what I do for a living, my answer is, “I make people feel wonderful….would you like a free sample.”
“Put your palms out in front of you facing upwards.” (Adjust her hands). “Close your eyes.”
“Now…imagine in the palms of your hands….is the best feeling you ever had. Don’t think about it, don’t analyze it…just imagine that this feeling is there…in the palms of your hands.”
(Begin swirling your index finger clockwise in the palm of her hands as you talk)
“As you focus on that feeling…feeling warmer and brighter…now…and feeling it build in the palms of your hands…you might even….feel the tingling sensations as that energy grows warmer…brighter….even more intense. If you were to describe that energy with a color…what color would it be?”
Response: “Red”
“That’s right! And as you feel that…RED…energy….swirling….building….growing….becoming warmer, brighter, even more intense than the time before.”
(Now take the tips of your fingers from both hands and slowly run them from the backs of her wrists up to the tips of her fingers as you continue with the patter. Do this about THREE TIMES SLOWLY as you continue with the amplification patter.)
“You might even hear a slight buzzing as you really feel that energy building” etc.
This is obviously not about exact words…you are just amplifying submodalities, so experiment and make sure to really draw out your tonality- allow yourself to experience the energy you are creating.
This person is REALLY feeling good at this point, so why not anchor those good feelings to YOU!.
“Now open your eyes…look at me…and pull all the energy into you” (Take their hands and push their palms towards their heart).
Now as you say the following, lightly run your fingers from her hips upward across her lats and to her shoulders two times. Start from the hips both times and move upwards (it’s important to keep the energy flow moving upward). “And feel that energy flow all throughout your body….filling every pore…consuming you….now.”
My responses have ranged from: “Wow” to “Whoa…was that chi gong?!”
