On 3 March, Brian David Phillips conducted an extensive introductory workshop on VICARIOUS EXPERIENTIAL MACHINE: Trance Techniques for Physical Skill Acceleration in Keelung, Taiwan.
The Vicarious eXperiential Machine is a trance construct in which a person models a visual activity . . . feeling within their own body what they see before them (video, film, photo, or even based upon reading). It can also be done without a visual cue for modeling a physical activity. Taking advantage of deep trance experience and how mirror neurons can be employed to accelerate mastery of physical skills, this is a very powerful process for learning and mastery of physical skill sets.
Essentially, this experiential hypnosis process employs a model of “what you see is what you feel” and then turbo charges that with some powerful time dilation and repetition protocol that essentially creates neurological pathways and greatly enhances muscle memory as the trance partner creates an experience in a few moments that works AS IF they have executed the same movement in physical space a hundred or more times, causing a muscle memory pattern to emerge for skill enhancement and skill improvement acceleration.
Dr. Phillips has used this to same process to assist athletes, martial artists, and performers accelerate their master of such diverse skills as ballroom dance, exotic dance, poledancing, tennis, golf, judo, taekwondo, jujitsu, competitive swimming, sensual skills, piano performance, and much much more.
The same process can also be used for recreational purposes . . . such as a viewer feeling as if they are immersed within a film or video game or roleplaying game in order to enhance the experience.
In addition to teaching the changework process, the program includes instruction in simple trance inductions for those without extensive experience in experiential hypnosis.
This program is an introductory abbreviated variation of our lengthier Educational Hypnosis and Creative Performance Enhancement Hypnosis seminars in which Rev. Dr. Brian David Phillips teaches participants a number of processes for directly accessing the power of the unconscious mind to accelerate physical skill improvement. The workshop is taught by Rev. Dr. Brian David Phillips, an internationally known and respected hypnosis practitioner, educator, author, and entertainer. Dr. Phillips is particularly well known within the hypnosis community for his innovative work in eroticatrance (erotic hypnosis), speed hypnosis, and creative hypnosis techniques. Dr. Phillips is President of the Society of Experiential Trance and editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of Experiential Trance. Dr. Phillips is the coordinator and chief instructor for the oldest English-language hypnosis and focused-trance practice group in Taiwan and is the owner and moderator of one of the largest online email discussion communities related to hypnosis and focused trance techniques. He has taught numerous workshops and seminars on hypnosis, focused trance, and experiential hypnosis in a variety of countries throughout the world as well as a number of webinars (web-based seminars) on these and related subjects. Dr. Phillips is an associate professor at National Chengchi University. Dr. Phillips uses rapid and instant hypnosis inductions routinely in his Waking Dreams Hypnosis Show, the only ongoing entertainment comedy hypnosis stage show in Taiwan.
