Seriously, grrrrrrr. Yesterday, I hosted a two hour online seminar on Wilhelm Reich’s psychology with particular emphasis on his work with the Function of the Orgasm, Character Analysis, and working with Character Armor and how hypnotists can adapt his work to their own processes for beneficial results. While the live chat was a special private event, we still intended to record the beastie and place it in the archives here for members and others.
Here’s the grrrrrrrr part. The recording worked perfectly . . . except . . . and it’s a big ass except . . . we only got fifteen or so minutes of recording of a two-and-a-half hour lecture with discussion. Our friend Murphy’s been enforcing his Law a bit of late.
Oh well, c’est fucking la vie.
Maybe we’ll have the chance to do another one in the future. It’s solid material and I’ve been playing with the concepts quite a bit of late to combine some of the more effective techniques of eroticatrance with worthwhile personality restructuring processes and adapt them into a neo-Reichian mindset (not pure Reich, that doesn’t work as well for contemporary hypnotists) for some really interesting possibilities.
It’s definitely an area I am exploring more of so I imagine we’ll share another seminar on the subject in the future . . . just not right away, having that much solid audio lost takes the wind out of one’s sails.
