Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Creative Problem Solving

Using transcranial magnetic stimulation to stimulate certain areas of the brain and suppress others, researcher claims to temporarily turns one into a savant. Test subjects score three times better on math and problem solving tests. They also have greater artistic ability. Note that the judgement on some of these characteristics are obviously highly subjective.

I would suggest comparing this work with that of Todd Murphy (see the Neurotheology posts on the blog at https://briandavidphillips.net/?s=neurotheology with some absolutely fascinating video lectures).
