We’ve seen this before but it’s worth noting . . . while recently a few discussion boards related to hypnosis have been touting the roleplay theory of hypnosis, with folks often using the incorrect assumption that hypnosis is just roleplay, a kind of game of let’s pretend, when in fact the theory never actually was as simplistic as that and more rehashing of the Amazing Kreskin’s claims that hypnosis doesn’t exist . . . well, hypnosis does exist as any competent hypnotist can demonstrate to you.

The more recent studies of hypnosis have shown categorically that something very special IS occurring to the brain of a hypnotized person, very special and very real.
