I quite enjoy bands that play with fantasy, science fiction, and magickal themes. Abney Park started out labeled as gothic and then through the years as folks came and went, they reinvented themselves as a steampunk band complete with airship narrative and band member alter-personae as airship pirates and they seem to have really hit the right look and feel for themselves. End of Days is from their current album.
