Military Court Ignores Civilian Court’s Hypnosis Ruling

This is a mess and a half coming out of Ankara . . . a military court is exploring evidence lines that a civilian court ruled inadmissible as it was obtained via the use of hypnosis which is not acceptable there. Forensic hypnosis is tricky stuff and only highly trained folks who understand critical concepts such as clean session language and processing should ever go anywhere near it (if you don’t know what that means, then do a search here for forensic hypnosis and get some background as this is one of my pet peeve areas as way too many folks say they can do this sort of work who are obviously incredibly sloppy thinkers who have no business anywhere near a case . . . or regular clients for that matter).

See http://www.todayszaman.com/news-229516-military-court-ignores-civilian-courts-hypnosis-ruling.html for details on this particular case . . . please note that it is extremely unusual to administer drugs as part of a hypnosis session, forensic or otherwise and for many organizations the use of drugs for this purpose would be a breach of protocol and perhaps even professional ethics.
