Marc Carlin is seen here on CBS performing a hypnotic process that’s becoming more popular of late . . . hypnotizing a person so that they feel as if they have had gastric band or bypass surgery for weight loss. Many of the training programs for this process include audio of nurses and surgeons and operating room sounds to be played during the process to create a stronger sense of verisimilitude while others just go with more straightforward hypnosis imagery.

Congrats to Marc on his coverage . . . even though the folks at CBS are using a term of a different – but similar – approach to this sort of thing when referencing the process.
