Yep, you read that right . . . Hypnotically Handsome Gas Passes for a stage hypnosis show or other forms of recreational or entertainment hypnosis.

This routine can be long or short, complicated or simple, but basically, you hypnotize your trance partners so that when they open their eyes they will experience some fun . . . that is . . . you call a volunteer from the audience and tell your trance partners that when they open their eyes every time you say the word “handsome” the audience volunteer passes gas . . . use graphic or polite language, depending upon formality and age range of the show. Then run a series of gags whereby you keep using “handsome” to describe the volunteer . . . really play it up. Have the volunteer sit next to your trance partners and . . . for a really big laugh . . . have the volunteer stand in front of your row of trance partners and ask them to touch their toys and just as they bend over, say “handsome” with a loud voice. Make sure the ol’ buttocks is pointed right at the trance partners’ faces for maximum effect. Be sure to remove the suggestion after returning the trance partners to eye closure and dismissing your volunteer. It’s pretty straighforward and, yes, it is bigtime sophomoric humor appealing to the lowest common denominator but it’s also a LOT of fun and will indeed get quite a few good-natured laughs . . . just keep the routine focused at having fun WITH your trance partner volunteers and not AT their expense.
