Now, while this question from one of the groups I belong to is specifically related to consensual adult recreational erotic hypnosis, it applies to a number of contexts – educational, training, and therapy – as well.
A fellow states he has the idea of guiding his trance partner into a state where he tells her an erotic story – his idea is based upon something very very explicit, but your application can be a bit more vanilla or not as you prefer – and that his trance partner would then experience the story as if it's all real so that she would have full senses of every nuance, erotic and otherwise, without even a single touch from him. Our correspondent isn't sure just what to do to get a training program like this started, but I've had a LOT of experience with this sort of experiential trance (a trance, hypnotic or otherwise, in which sensations of imagery or suggestions are felt physically as well as imaginatively . . . a sort of experiential theatre of the mind).

I've used experiential hypnosis of this type for recreational fantasy Dungeons and Dragons type scenarios a number of times as well. Establishing parameters of the experience and having Safewords is very important.
With experiential hypnosis, as taught in a number of my core DVD programs, you can also program fantasies to be realized through a vicarious experience of video game, book, or movie. A person can step inside the world of the game or movie and feel as if they are the one experiencing the action on screen – obviously, care must be taken as to what sort of action is occurring. While I've often used this technique for performance and skill enhancement for actors, dancers, and athletes, it has obvious application in the erotic consenting adult recreational realm the original quearant here was particularly interested in. Certainly, folks who enjoy POV (Point-of-View) Porn can see how this sort of trance would enhance the experience of the erotica a whole lot (not only does the visual image reinforce the idea of the sexual action being performed upon the viewer, the experiential trance allows the viewer to actually FEEL as if it's happening.
