As regular readers of the Life of Brian blog know - http://briandavidphillips.net/ - my family is full of cosplay fannish goodness. My daughter Kaye has been cosplaying since she was four and I've been taking cosplay photos for a bit longer.
This past weekend, Comic World was held in Taipei at National Taiwan University. We went on Sunday (yesterday) and I brought along my Fujifilm Real 3D W1 digital stereo camera to capture some cosplay images.
Once we got home, I batch-processed the images via Stereo Photo Maker and then batch-processed a selection for anaglyphs (the sort of 3D photos one uses red-blue glasses to view).
Here's a small selection of some of our photos . . .
See http://public.fotki.com/briandavidphillips/cosplay/3d/2009-12-13-comic for more.
Queen for a day . . . I'm not sure which queen character she's playing but this intricate costume was just breath-taking.
Spikey Spike Spike . . . that is an amazing prop and even more amazing photographed in 3D.
Sweetness and light . . . this costume is beautiful.
See http://public.fotki.com/briandavidphillips/cosplay/3d/2009-12-13-comic-1 for more.
Holding it together . . . this trio did some great posing, the costumes obviously have some hidden tricks to keep certain bits hidden from sight, very good job.
CDilicious . . . there were a few folks cosplaying this character at the event.
Breathless . . . this girl just takes your breath away.
You can see the complete full-size parallel stereograph gallery of the images at http://public.fotki.com/briandavidphillips/cosplay/3d/2009-12-13-comic-1 and the full-size anaglyph gallery at http://public.fotki.com/briandavidphillips/cosplay/3d/2009-12-13-comic via my fotki pages.
All the best,
