For those who may not know . . . long ago when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, I wrote my doctoral dissertation on interactive drama, a form of live action roleplaying, and have published quite a few academic papers on the subject in my professor mode . . . I also founded the hiatus-dwelling Journal of Interactive Drama . . . so this sort of stuff pushes just the right warmth buttons for me . . . reminds me of just how much fun our old Taipei Interactive Theatre Society (TITS, yes, I know what it spells, you can choose to believe that's just merely a happy coincidence if you like) games were that Lorraine and I hosted in our home. If we had enough folks showing interest, we'd start 'em up again in a heartbeat (heck, we used to cram as many as thirty or forty people into our home all dressed up in costume and we've actually got more space now . . . hmmm, maybe I should dust off that old "Amazingly Outstanding Gorean Slave Girls Versus the Vampire Priestlord Girlieguys of Gor" scenario).
