The Fuji Finepix Real 3D W1 digital camera is now available in Taiwan!

My wife surprised me tonight by bringing home a Fuji Real 3D W1 that she tracked down from a shop in the camera street district of Taipei (Taiwan). She called several shops before locating one that had one in stock (only a few stores are getting them) so she rushed over during her lunch break to snag their last one.
I am a very very very happy camper at the moment. I've been waiting for the beasties to go into retail release for forever and a day but was holding out for the local release in Taiwan for warranty. Lorraine handed over the box and said that she can now stop listening to me jammer and moan about it as I can start taking some photos with the blasted thing.
The 3D screen on the camera is everything folks have been saying, very nice . . . no need for special viewers, just shoot your picture and see it immediately in 3D. I did not order their V1 viewer as I use stereo photo maker (a freeware software) http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr as it will open the Fuji mpo files and allows me to edit them into a more convenient format (parallel prints or anaglyphs are my preference). There are other software options out there as well.
