Yep, you read that right . . . Sky is setting up to begin broadcasting full-on stereoscopic 3D high definition television in the UK. Here's a video report from Sky News on just how they're going about this rather milestone event . . .

Now, if only someone here would get on the ball and start on this. Japan's already broadcasting in 3D and the UK's on the way and the US has a consortium starting the very very preliminary work . . . so, hey, Taiwan, our turn?

Seriously, things are moving forward and the future on this looks bright.
