This answer to a question and answer is from a response I made to a query on one of the private specialty discussion forums I belong to in which a fellow asked about getting the sensation of being drunk from hypnosis. He saw Derren Brown do it in one of his television programs and so knows it can be done but didn't know how to go about it and so asked if anyone knew of an audio CD being sold on the market that might help him . . . his goal is to use a drinking type anchor in order to cut down on his drinking.
A few folks replied to the query, my reply is as follows . . .

The other new video not in the compilations is the "Drunken Hypnosis" piece at https://briandavidphillips.net/2009/06/drunken-hypnosis.html which as of this date is actually the most recently filmed (as part of the footage shot for our upcoming Exotic Hypnosis Inductions DVD product).
This is something I do a LOT . . . and I mean a LOT . . . and by a LOT, I mean a whole lot more than a whole bunch . . . both for fun and entertainment and to work with folks for the very sort of thing that our querant is asking about. As a therapeutic technique, it's a very nice way to show a person they can get the high of the drug or alcohol without the damaging effects of the drug itself. I've taught it to a number of folks who act as designated drivers as well (instant soberness with no hangover so they can enjoy an evening with their friends and still be clear headed when they need to drive). Certainly, it's not the exact same as being chemically blitzed but it's a worthwhile substitute for those who desire it.
I don't have an audio CD for this but I do have a DVD in my shop (hint, it's product number DVT07 – The Drunk Hypnosis Induction (Magick Drinking Finger Variation) – you should be able to find it fairly easily; the process itself can be done within hypnosis or as a straight on induction-slash-waking-suggestion, whatever floats your boat) at http://www.briandavidphillips.net/store which teaches you how to do it with some examples. That DVD is specific to this product although the process is included in a number of the other general hypnosis training products I have in the shop as well (off the top of my head, I believe it's also in the core skills, speed seminar, eXperiential ecstasy, and a variation will be in the upcoming exotic inductions set due in September or October, whenever post-production finishes).
While for some odd reason I would much rather be the one to take your money as far as product goes (in fact, I might even enjoy that), you can also do a google search for things such as hypnotic high or hypnotic drugs or the like. There are a couple folks out there who sell digital marijuana type CDs.

The very first time I ever saw this sort of thing was in a stage hypnosis show (I believe it was one of the old Pat Collins shows) but the idea didn't really click for me until much later when I first read about Richard Bandler's now a bit out-of-date but still quite useful for ideas so-called "Drug of Choice" induction (you can find discussions of this in the archives of the Hypnosis Technique Exchange at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypnosisTechniqueExchange). By the time I saw Frank Santos do it as an initial induction for an R-Rated stage hypnosis show, I was on enough solid footing to start playing with it on my own . . . and play with it, I certainly have. Like myself, many folks get their first exposure to the concept through stage hypnosis and find it to be funny (just like all those television shows that include the gag, along with the hypnotist installing a trigger but forgetting to remove it or accidentally installing it in the wrong person . . . the joys of television cliche, with just enough reality built in to make the outrageousness seem almost believable). However, it doesn't have to be left at the doorstop of bad television writing alone . . . there's gold hidden within, just delve within and find the secret underlying concepts to the process that unlock the treasure of it which can then be used for so much more than mere giggles (although, giggles in and of themselves are a worthy enough result if that truly is the limits of your goals . . . but, if you want more, so very much more, it's there for the taking as well).
I will very likely be teaching this at the Walkabout Trance Beach Resort Getaway (http://www.walkabouttrance.com) thing in August at Redondo Beach in California and a variation in the Erotic Hypnosis (https://briandavidphillips.net/category/eroticatrance/) course the same weekend (albeit, not an alcohol drug for that one – hint, think uber-aphrodisiac combined with ecstasy or bliss or any other combination of very nice druglike but no drug effects . . . double hint or inside clue to those who are kind of already in the know . . . I will be bringing my "clicker" with me to the US, can you say blissnosis?) . . . not so subtle pitch time: don't forget you still have enough time to sign up for either or both of those courses but you're running out of time and you really don't want to be kicking yourself in the back of the head for missing the opportunity if you miss out . . . oh, and . . . there's a massive pricing advantage to sign up for the Walkabout and then the Erotic but you need to do it NOW . . . as others noted in the original discussion, it's not a difficult concept and once you've got the principles, you can begin applying them to a very wide range of contexts.
