I have am something of an experienced expert on the subject and have taught erotic hypnosis for a number of years and have blogged about it even longer (see https://briandavidphillips.net/hypnosis_erotic_and_sexual/index.html for my blog posts) and do indeed do professional as well as recreational work in the area.

The Erotic Hypnosis course is open to complete beginners and experienced hypnotists alike. Obviously, the folks with previous experience have a headstart (so it's very helpful for folks to take the Walkabout Trance course along with the Erotic Hypnosis experience, although not required). We will be covering everything you need to know to get up and running with all the major erotic hypnosis bits from inducing trance to experiencing erotic fantasies vividly to creating sexual feelings and triggering arousal through orgasm without a touch. The techniques can be used to enhance intimate relationships or for therapeutic purposes so folks will have their own reasons for signing up.

The message archives alone have thousands of posts related to discussing just about anything you can imagine related to hypnosis. When you feel comfortable with the group, feel free to post a query on any trance-related topic and there is likely to be someone there who can help you.
Read anything and everything in your local library or available in the local bookstores. Never stop learning.
A good video course to start off with is my basic comprehensive Hypnosis Core Skills DVD set at http://www.briandavidphillips.net/store which honestly and comprehensively covers all the basics with explanations and examples. However, reading books and watching videos, while worthwhile, is not enough. You really have to get out there and do the stuff. Find some willing folks to practice with. If you don't have access to an established practice group in your area, then consider starting one (see the Hypnosis Technique Exchange for advice on how to go about this).
If you can take the time to join us at the Walkabout Trance Beach Resort Getaway http://www.walkabouttrance.com in August, it will do wonders in getting you up to speed.
