Scientists Chemically Activate Junk DNA, Investigating Subspecies Development

Scientists have successfully used a form of gene therapy to activate "junk DNA" in an effort to cure forms of autism and have evidently found a way to study an interesting subspecies of the human evolutionary tree . . . resurrecting a subspecies that died off in our past.  What they are calling homo sapiens vampiris lives again.  See the laboratory presentation at http://www.rifters.com/blindsight/vampires.htm . . . fascinating stuff . . . particularly when you see that Nitya Venkataraman and Alexander Colewhether are using a similar approach to activating junk DNA to create retrocyclin in humans in an effort to create immunity to HIV.  See their very real work at http://biology.plosjournals.org/perlserv/?request=get-document&doi=10.1371/journal.pbio.1000095&ct=1 and then watch the rifters video again.  Or, go read I Am Legend (or, take a shortcut and see the movie).

All the best,
Brian
