Regular readers of Life of Brian have seen the pattern used in this video before, albeit with different openers as I like to shake it up and be playful. This is a new
clip filmed on December 30, 2008, with a young woman as trance partner
in her first-ever hypnosis session. This is a bit of fun with a classic suggestibility concept. Regular readers have seen me use components of the sequence elsewhere, but the opening component isn’t often used and I don’t know of many folks who take it to amnesia and name replacement from the get-go quite so quickly in the sequence (hint to performers, it’s a very powerful convincer both for an individual and for an audience when you pluck a random audience meber from a crowd and perform this sequence.
No smoke, no mirrors, this is done as a waking
hypnosis patter, in complete awareness and without any formal induction . . . just
plain ol’ waking suggestion.
The pattern is a lot of fun.
