The TRANCE WIZARD (https://briandavidphillips.net/2008/05/trance-wizard-p.html) Supernatural Hypnosis Show on June 22 at the Live Comedy Club Taipei was a blast. This was not your run-of-the-mill typical stage hypnosis performance, instead of a row of chairs on stage to fill with volunteers, we had a simple table with two chairs and various genuine occult and mystical paraphrenalia . . . Crystal Ball, Magick Wand, Ouija, Psychic Pendulum, Tarot, Spirit Bottle, Runestones, Meditation Gems, and more . . . guests were invited to come up for certain effects and readings and I also did group work and sat down in the audience to do intimate intuitive work.
The show was a combination of genuine trance with metaphysical constructs and more. It was a very unique experience and a lot of fun!

The attendees received their very own psychic pendulums for ideomotor pendulum autoquestioning (https://briandavidphillips.net/2008/06/pendulum-autoqu.html) and hypnosis CDs to take home with them. After the show, a number of folks stayed behind and I kept right on hypnotizing ’em until we pretty much had to get out the door. I used a number of the methods that I teach in my Understanding Tarot (http://www.briandavidphillips.com/training/tarotunderstand.html) and Metaphysical Hypnosis (http://www.briandavidphillips.com/training/metaphysical_taipei.html) courses but adapted them to an entertaining light entertainment feel (see the upcoming Recreational Hypnosis course – http://www.briandavidphillips.com/training/recreationalhyp.html – for more along those lines).

We usually do a show at the Comedy Club every couple of months, the next show is going to be particularly special . . . once again, we will be experimenting with a magickal interactive format rather than a row of chairs setup. Our next performance will be a special Seance performance mixing genuine traditional seance techniques from the nineteenth century with twenty-first century approaches . . . it is a special performance for Ghost Month and will occur on August 15, the Ghost Festival celebration day . . . the show begins at 10:30pm and continues on past midnight . . . this is another intricate mix of hypnosis, trance, and metahpysical techniques style performance. I’ve conducted a number of seance entertainments in the past but this will be my first public one in Taiwan and since it will be on Ghost Festival, it looks to be quite the special experience for all.
