Chi, Psychic Power, or Hypnosis?

A friend in Japan sent these to me . . . Mr. Oki, a Tai Chi Master, demonstrates his psychic energy . . . is it chi, psychic power, or hypnosis?

THROW AROUND LIKE A PUPPET

Suggested weakness and large pushes with minimal effort.

COME AND GET ME

Fixation and then forceful movement and confusion.

NONVERBAL CONTROL

Ota uses a nonverbal approach but still manages the effect of lowering the opponent’s energy and then manipulating control.

GROUP CONTROL

Interlock the hands so that everyone moves (similar to the Ouija Dance effect I teach). Notice the hostess does not react as fully but the host is one of the longest responders.

It’s a very nice series.  There are a lot more of these from videobloger on youtube.

I posted this at the Hypnosis Technique Exchange . . . http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypnosisTechniqueExchange . . . and given all the material on "influence" and forms of hypnosis I present here, thought some of you might enjoy playing along . . .

Enjoy . . . so, what’s YOUR take on whether it’s chi, psychic power, or hypnosis? Now . . . whatever your view of what Mr. Oka is doing . . . how would YOU accomplish the same effects using formal hypnosis? Now . . . here’s the fun part . . . how would you do it using covert hypnosis? Now . . . here’s the really fun part . . . what happens when you actually test your theory of how to do it and you go out and actually do it?

Now . . . same question sequence as applied to the video in this post . . . https://briandavidphillips.net/2007/03/derren_browns_v.html (which was posted in response to this https://briandavidphillips.net/2007/03/hypnotism_in_ru.html post on so-called "Gypsy Hypnosis" in Russia).

More videos on the blog (in "hypnosis videos") as well as my webpage at http://www.BrianDavidPhillips.com and on my myspace at http://www.myspace.com/briandavidphillips for those with an interest.

All the best,
Brian
