I was asked about performance hypnosis on my myspace . . . specifically using hypnosis to help actresses and dancers but also general performance issues.
As folks know, I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in acting . . . so, performance is one of my great loves . . . I absolutely LOVE being in front of an audience. For me, combining my love of performing and my love of hypnosis just makes perfect sense as I combine both of my areas of great passion and talent.
As I’ve taught acting and speech communication for years at a top university, I know my way around the whys and wherefores of helping wouldbe performers get started on the right foot. As a hypnotist, I also know serveral trance techniques that help folks realize their full potential as performers . . . helping to overcome performance anxiety, stage fright, and the like . . . helping to achive peak performance levels getting in "the zone" or, as we used to say in my own theatrical performance days, "making the magick happen" . . . sense memory and other exercises from Stanislavski taken to their utmost . . . skill enhancement for building proficiency more effectively . . . and much, much, more.
In my work, I have helped a number of folks become better performers via hypnosis . . . actors, dancers, musicians, athletes, speakers, martial artists, comedians, and others. I am particularly versed in hypnosis for entertainers although I have quite a bit of experience with atheletes and other folks who focus on performance and performance related issues . . . in addition to my other hypnosis services.
