The Taipei Experimental Hypnosis and Trancework Workshop is the largest English-language hypnosis practice group in Taiwan.
We will meet for the hypnosis study group (English) on Sunday, January 15, from 2:30 to 6ish in the afternoon).
For this session, we will be exploring Higher Self Hypnosis, or Trance and Hypnosis Processes to Access the Higher Self and Beyond. We’ll enjoy some bits and pieces of various approaches to access what is often referred to as the Higher Self via hypnosis or focused trance. We may also review and play with processes to engage or enter the various "states" of formal trance with discussion of concepts behind the constructs of various trance "states" and how one creates new ones via suggested effect and expectation. We will discuss and note the formal and informal distinctions and similarities between Somnambulism, Hyperempiria, Experiential Hypnosis, Hypnosleep, Esdaile/Coma, Sichort/Ultra-Depth, Ultra-Height, Bastthought, Becoming an Avatar, and others. Yes, we will discuss and practice ways to create your own alternative trance states by design. We are looking forward to your participation in the HIGHER SELF HYPNOSIS session.
While this is a standalone workshop, some of what we will be discussing is a taste of some of the material to be explored in more depth in the upcoming formal courses in February (see training at http://www.briandavidphillips.com for more information).
This study group is for hands-on practice and sharing techniques.
We will meet in my home. Only those who have signed up at
AND responded to the profile questions (name, phone, and interests in hypnosis) – and been approved – will be invited. The address and contact information is posted on the workshop yahoogroup.
Participants range from those with little or no formal hypnosis background to old hands with advanced experience. All that we ask is that folks bring an honest desire to learn and share.
The sessions are conducted in English so you must have the ability to converse about the subject as well as participate fully in English.
