This is not really what the buzz words mean . . . “Teleporting” Solid 3D Objects Over Internet by Next Generation . . . it is less telportation which means physically moving an object or person across great distances (beam me up, Scotty) but more like telerendering where a 3D physical copy is created for conferencing (the holosuite conference call without the hologram but using an actual 3D object). I would suggest for meetings, a hologram might be cheaper and come quicker. Of course, the cybersex folks will be all over the actual physical object part of this.
