National Guild of Hypnotists . . . resignation . . .
. . . finally free, no more of that

Most of the folks who read this blog don’t know or don’t care . . . but for those who do . . .

Due to personality, values, and belief conflicts that show no signs of being resolved . . . I have finally officially resigned from the National Guild of Hypnotists.

I am no longer in any way shape or form associated with that organization.  Likewise, I will not support or encourage others to support or join that organization in any way.

I have many friends who are NGH members and quite a number who are NGH trainers . . . I also respect a number of folks who I believe to be caring and highly skilled hypnotists and others who I feel are some of the best trainers working today . . . my respect for those individuals will not change.

However . . . that respect is based upon an individual basis.  I will no longer have anything to do with the NGH as an organization.

I now join the ever growing ranks of the disillusioned, bitter, and disgruntled FORMER NGH members, many of whom are very skilled, very competent, very ethical, and highly professional hypnotists who likewise have decided that the NGH road is not the road for them.

Please don’t ask "what was the straw that broke the camel’s back" as I don’t wish to get into that mess again . . . suffice it to say that there are numerous reasons for my final decision but that there are some overwhelming circumstances that have made it very clear to me that my values are not the values of the NGH and that this is NOT going to change and so there is no good reason for me to remain in that organization.

The NGH may indeed be an appropriate organization for others.  However, it is not for me.

All the best,
Brian
