Kaye, Lorraine, and I went to the opening of the new IMAX screen in Taipei . . . Friday night . . . it was great. Really great. The screen is huge, really huge. Unfortunately, the film was dubbed in Chinese. All the signs and posters are in English and there is nothing posted about it being dubbed.

No subtitles either.

Well, the screen and the images are great.

There are a ton of posters for some 3D IMAX films coming too. If they’re in 3D, I’ll still be okay with the Mandarin. If not, then Lorraine and Kaye will enjoy the experience and I’ll sit it out.

We saw an add for Polar Express but there was nothing about it being in 3D like it is in IMAX locations in the US. So, we’re not sure if it will be playing on the IMAX screen or on one of the regular Warner Village screens here.

We’re really hoping it will be in 3D. Big time hopes.
